The GIANTS’ VFL side consists of some of the best second-tier talent from across Sydney and Canberra alongside our AFL-listed players for the 2025 VFL season.

 

Also an important part of the 2025 squad are a number of Albury-based players, with the GIANTS creating a new Albury VFL Hub in 2025 to help players in the region take the next step in their football careers and to help unearth some hidden talent.

 

With a focus on developing young local talent, the club’s VFL side once again contains a large cohort of youngsters from across NSW and the ACT looking to make their mark in one of the country’s premier second-tier competitions.

 

Wayne Cripps continues his role as head coach of the club’s VFL program for a third straight season in 2025, as well as being a development coach across the AFL program. 

 

Cripps joined the club ahead of the 2023 season after working with some of the country’s best young talent as the premiership-winning coach of the Sandringham Dragons in the Coates Talent League in 2022.
