A newcomer to the GIANTS in 2023, Annise Bradfield joined the club after three years at the Gold Coast Suns. After suffering a knee injury early in her AFLW career, she went on to play five games for the Suns before making the move to the GIANTS. A former hockey player, Bradfield was unable to make her GIANTS debut in 2023 after being forced to have season-ending surgery on a Lisfranc injury suffered during the pre-season. While also capable of playing forward, Bradfield’s strength lies in her ability to play as an inside midfielder, with her size, toughness and competitiveness all strong attributes.
