The inaugural Kevin Sheedy Medal dinner will be held tonight at Waterview at Sydney Olympic Park.
Greater Western Sydney GIANTS CEO David Matthews said that the night was a great way to celebrate the outstanding performance of a number of players in the club’s first year.
“We have had a successful first year in the AFL competition with a record eight NAB AFL Rising Star nominees.
“We were also were able to win in both Canberra and at SKODA Stadium in Sydney which is fantastic for us in our first year.
“A number of players have had a stand out year so it will be interesting to see who the winner is when it is announced tonight,” Matthews said.
