Since entering Australia’s biggest sporting competition in 2012, the GIANTS have quickly built a reputation of boldly doing things differently. 

The Never Surrender attitude referenced in our famous song is central to everything the club does.  

With 2021 being our 10th year in the AFL, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on where we’ve come from, celebrate what has been achieved and look forward with a great sense of optimism.

A Big Big Decade Is Here

With 2021 being our 10th year in the AFL, it's the perfect opportunity to reflect on where we've come from, celebrate what has been achieved and look forward with a great sense of optimism.

Since our formation as a club, we've grown the game in Western Sydney and the ACT, forming strong and sustainable connections with the local communities of these regions.   

On field, we've gone from competition easy beats to a formidable team that regularly plays finals football, building the Orange Army to a membership base in excess of 30,000 people.  

Together, we will celebrate a Big Big Decade and share our #BigBigMoment across the last 10 years.   

The campaign kicks off with members, staff, partners, players and board members coming together to reflect on their #BigBigMoment from their first season as part of the GIANT family.  

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr is part of the club's Big Big Decade campaign.

The #BigBigMoment campaign was filmed in a lounge room setting across three key locations at GIANTS Stadium, Blacktown International Sportspark and Manuka Oval in Canberra.  

The series will include a number of familiar faces including veteran Shane Mumford, AFLW stars Alyce Parker and Alicia Eva, Board Member and number one ticket holder Melissa Doyle and ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr.  

Our AFLW and Netball teams are a cornerstone of the club and their growth is a significant part of our story.   

On the verge of AFLW season five, we look forward to our AFLW members taking part in the celebrations of our Big Big Decade.

Our Big Big Decade celebrations will see the club host a range of events, launch dedicated web content to reflect the milestone and introduce a bespoke merchandise range including items from our new apparel partner PUMA.
