Toby Greene won't challenge his two-match suspension for striking, with the forward to miss the GIANTS’ upcoming matches against St Kilda and Collingwood.
Greene was charged with striking Bulldog Caleb Daniel by the Match Review Panel and offered a two match ban, with an early guilty plea.
Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Western Bulldogs, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with medium impact to the head.
The incident was classified as a three-match sanction. With no applicable record which impacts the penalty, Greene was offered a two match sanction with an early guilty plea.
The reigning Kevin Sheedy Medallist, Greene has played every game this season, kicking 20 goals in six games.
The GIANTS take on St Kilda on Friday night at Etihad Stadium.
