GIANTS recruits Heath Shaw, Shane Mumford, Jed Lamb and Dylan Addison have all completed their first day of pre-season training with the club.
Despite the wet weather, the quartet moved well and got to know their new teammates at Tom Wills Oval.
It was also the first training session for a number of the GIANTS' more experienced players, including co-captains Phil Davis and Callan Ward and vice-captain Tom Scully.
Former Geelong defender Josh Hunt is the only player the GIANTS selected in the trade period yet to commence pre-season training.
Hunt, who got married over the off-season, is expected to join the GIANTS next week, along with the draftees selected by the GIANTS at Thursday’s NAB AFL Draft at the Gold Coast.
The GIANTS have selections 1, 2, 14, 29, 48, 72, 73, 81, 91, 95 and 97.
