Hawthorn legend Robert DiPierdomenico has told GIANTS TV it shouldn’t be long until the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS reach their first grand final.

‘Dipper’ was speaking at the GIANTS grand final lunch where he was joined by around 500 guests and fellow legend Dermott Brereton.

“Of course, I played in many and my old mate Dermie played in many,” said DiPierdomenico.

“It should be a great day today, a few stories about the grand finals.

“Hopefully, one day you guys will join us on the biggest stage, the MCG.”

‘Dipper’ said he expects his former club to win on grand final day.

“It’s going to be a classic game, a great game. These two sides have really been up against each other all year and it’s one-all, said DiPierdomenico.

“I’m really looking forward to a good tight, hard game.

“I hope the Hawks can get over the line.”
