The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS held their first Brownlow Medal dinner in the ACT for over 130 guests on Monday night.

Hosted at Eastlake Football Club, guests were treated to an exclusive update from GIANTS Football Manager Graeme ‘Gubby’ Allan and also enjoyed a speech from Sydney Swan’s legend and 1995 Brownlow Medalist, Paul Kelly.

GIANTS Chief Operating Officer Richard Griffiths, who also spoke on the night said that the club was pleased with the inaugural event.

“We are building a reputation for high quality events and Monday night’s Brownlow function in the ACT was no exception.

“It was great to have so many of our corporate partners and Canberran AFL fans in the same room to enjoy what is a great night on the AFL calendar.

“It was also fantastic to see Andrew Barr MLA in attendance, who has attended a number of GIANTS functions this year.

“The event was relaxed and very enjoyable.”
