Tim Golds will become the 35th Greater Western Sydney GIANT to make his debut when he lines up against the Gold Coast SUNS on Saturday.
Golds joined the GIANTS in 2010 as a 17-year-old priority selection from the Oakleigh Chargers in Victoria.
The fast running and athletic backman said that while he is anxious about playing in his first AFL game, he has received plenty of advice from his fellow GIANTS.
“I’m pretty nervous about making my AFL debut but I’ve spoken to plenty of boys around the club to get some advice.
“I’ve spoken to guys like Sam Frost, Jack Hombsch and Kurt Aylett who have all done well on their debut so hopefully I can take some pointers from them.
“My aim for the rest of the season is just to stay injury free and play as many AFL games as possible,” Golds said.
