The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have welcomed back four of their emerging young stars for the clash against Melbourne at Manuka Oval in Canberra this Saturday.

Toby Greene, Taylor Adams, Dom Tyson and Nick Haynes have all been included in the side along with veteran James McDonald who will line-up against his former club.

WATCH THE TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT:

Young forward Jeremy Cameron has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing hip surgery yesterday and Adam Tomlinson has a bruised kidney.

Tom Bugg, Adam Treloar and Jack Hombsch have all been omitted as part of five changes.

Further scans yesterday also revealed that number two draft pick Stephen Coniglio has developed a stress fracture in his lower back and will miss the rest of the season.

Head Coach Kevin Sheedy said the GIANTS were looking forward to returning to Canberra to celebrate Luke Power’s 300th game.

“This is an opportunity for us to celebrate the incredible contribution that Luke Power has made to our game," Sheedy said.

"Luke has had an outstanding careerspanning 16 years and the wealth of experience and knowledge that he has topass on to this young side is simply second to none.

“This week sees a number of our exciting young midfielders return in Toby Greene and Taylor Adams, but it is especially pleasing to see Dom Tyson make his way into the side after injuring his shin back in round 10 against Geelong.

“Obviously we’re starting to see the season take its toll on some of these younger bodies with a number of players ruled out due to injury.

"Our medical and fitness team have done a fantastic job all year managing the loads on our young players, and these last three games are going to be another big test for our playing group.”
