The Under 14 Slater & Gordon GIANTS Academy have capped off a brilliant three day series with massive wins over the Sydney Swans, Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS Academies.
Over three days, the squads competed with the GIANTS running out winners by a collective 286 points.
GIANTS Academy Manager Lachlan Buszard said that the results were an exciting step forward for the Academy program.
“The Under 14s team included seven players from Western Sydney which is a great sign for junior development in the area.
“We had three big wins over the Lions, SUNS and Swans during the series which really was a credit to the way that the kids played and the coaches.
“These results are a real positive for our program and speak volumes of the local talent that is coming through the AFL system,” Buszard said.
