Greater Western Sydney GIANTS coach Kevin Sheedy yesterday showed Australian band The Temper Trap around the MCG as they rehearsed for their performance at half time of the grand final.

Sheedy was delighted to meet the Aria award-winning group who are part of an all Australian line up of artists who will feature on Saturday.

“It’s great to have such a successful Australian group headlining the entertainment,” said Sheedy.

“It really fits in with the AFL’s tag line ‘Australia’s Game’.

The Temper Trap will be joined by Australian recording legend Paul Kelly, who will perform in the lead up to the game.

Both are scheduled to play after the match with the doors of the MCG thrown open to allow the general public to join in.

The AFL have said they expect the entertainment to go ahead, despite predictions of inclement weather.
