Greater Western Sydney GIANTS Co-Captain Phil Davis will face his old club tomorrow night when the GIANTS take on the Adelaide Crows in Round 4 of the 2012 Toyota AFL Premiership season.
Davis was the first un contracted player to announce that he would join the GIANTS for the 2012 season and today said that he is looking forward to taking on his old team mates and many of his friends in tomorrow’s match.
“It’s nice to be back in Adelaide. I think tomorrow night will be a good hit out.
“A few of the Crows boys have already promised me a bit so that should be fun. I think there will be a very strong, contested style of football on show tomorrow night.”

The promising defender said that he isn’t concerned by the reception he may receive from Adelaide supporters when he returns to AAMI Stadium in the orange and charcoal for the first time tomorrow.
“Adelaide Crows fans are fantastic; they were always really supportive of me when I was here. If they give me some stick tomorrow that’s great because at least they remember me.”
Davis said that the GIANTS were looking to come out firing in tomorrow’s match after getting off to a disappointing start in the first quarter against West Coast last week.
“We really want to concentrate on our first quarter tomorrow and come out hard.
“It would be great if we could get a win tomorrow but we know that Adelaide is a great team and they’ve only lost one game this season.”
The GIANTS Co-Captain said that the experience of Mark Williams, Chad Cornes and Dean Brogan would assist the young club coming in to tomorrow’s match.
“Mark has plenty of experience on AAMI Stadium as do some of our older players so hopefully we can pass that knowledge on to the younger guys.
“Hopefully I can pass as much on to our defenders as possible about the way that the Crows play.”
