Toby Greene will take his place in the GIANTS side that will face Collingwood on Friday night, having been "talked out" of playing in last week's defeat to the Western Bulldogs by coach Leon Cameron.
The superstar forward joked that he "wasn't too happy" about being left out of the team that travelled to Marvel Stadium in round three, but says he has sufficiently recovered from lingering knee soreness to play against the Magpies this weekend.
"I'm all good," Greene said on Tuesday.
"I was pretty close to playing last week, but I'm all good for this week and I'm looking forward to Friday night footy.
"I thought I did convince him (Cameron). He talked me out of it, so I wasn't too happy.
"It's always frustrating watching any game, so it was disappointing with how the result turned out and how we played. It is what it is though and we'll try to make amends for it."
Greene is set to be joined in the GIANTS' team by star midfield duo Josh Kelly and Lachie Whitfield, with both training on Tuesday despite heading into Friday night's clash under respective injury clouds.
Kelly was a late withdrawal from last Friday night's defeat to the Dogs due to calf tightness, while Whitfield was forced out of the game in the first quarter due to concussion following a big hit from Aaron Naughton.
"They both trained today, so they'll be available for selection," Greene said.
"They'll get picked. They're good to go, I'm fairly certain."
