GIANTS TV will feature tributes to Kevin Sheedy from prominent Australians and AFL identities as he prepares for his final matches as Head Coach of the GIANTS.
Sheedy won three premierships as a player at Richmond and coached Essendon to four flags before becoming the inaugural coach of the GIANTS.
The 65-year-old has been involved at the highest level for almost 50 years and is the only person to play and coach more than 1000 VFL-AFL games.
The tributes start with former Essendon premiership player Mark Harvey and include other former Bombers like Tim Watson, Richmond team mate Kevin Bartlett, GIANTS Number One ticket holder Mel Doyle NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell and AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou.
GIANTS TV will reveal a different tribute every day ahead of the match at SKODA Stadium on Sunday August 25, so make sure you keep checking out the GIANTS website or the GIANTS App for the very latest.
Tickets to the GIANTS match against Richmond can be purchased at ticketmaster.com.au/GIANTS with the first 10,000 people through the gates at SKODA Stadium receiving a commemorative Kevin Sheedy flag.
