GIANTS co-captain Phil Davis and Adam Tomlinson will join the 702 ABC Sydney Blue Mountains Bushfire Appeal at Winmalee High School this Sunday.

The GIANTS players will participate in a community cricket match along with members of the Springwood Cricket Club, Warrimoo and Valley Heights RFS volunteers, Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, Mitchell Allgood and Brenden Santi from the Parramatta Eels and 702 staff.

Simon Marnie and the 702 ABC Weekends team will broadcast live from Winmalee High School from 10am on Sunday 1 December as part of the Community Recovery Picnic Day.

GIANTS fans are invited to come down and join in the activities with jumping castles, face painting, a barbeque cooked by Rotary and the Parramatta Eels, as well as live entertainment.

702 ABC have already raised $29,000 for the appeal this week, after auctioning off limited edition canvas print of "The Cricketers" - a photograph taken by 702's John Donegan of the Warrimoo RFS crew playing cricket during a rest break as the threat from the bushfires started to ease.
