GIANTS coach Kevin Sheedy and a number of GIANTS players have visited the Children’s ward at Canberra Hospital as part of the Lifebroker Gentle GIANTS program.

Lifebroker Gentle GIANTS Ambassador Jonathon Giles together with Josh Bruce, Phil Davis, Adam Tomlinson, Adam Treloar, Brett Thornton and Setanta O’hAilpin have joined Sheedy in handing out footballs, signing autographs and playing games with children to help brighten up their day.

Sheedy said the Lifebroker Gentle GIANTS program has been a great experience for the players and staff at this club.

“This program really is a win win because these kids get the chance to meet some of their favourite players and of course for our players it gives them some perspective as to just how tough others are doing it in their lives,” Sheedy said.

“These kids are going through a difficult time at such a young age and it's important we help keep their spirits up for a bright future.”

The Lifebroker Gentle GIANTS will see GIANTS players deliver 500 hours of visits to hospitals across NSW, the ACT and Victoria.
