Tomlinson, 21, has played 45 games for the GIANTS since he was selected with pick nine in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.
Standing at 193cm, Tomlinson had his best season in 2014, playing 19 games and using his hard running and strong marking to become an important player in the GIANTS' side.
His contract extension follows the re-signings of Jon Patton, Nick Haynes, Josh Kelly, Adam Kennedy, Rory Lobb, James Stewart, Andrew Phillips, Cameron McCarthy and Jake Barrett.
General Manager Football Graeme Allan said the club was delighted with Tomlinson's show of faith.
“Adam is a versatile player with terrific running and marking ability and his football is thriving here at the GIANTS," he said.
"His decision to re-commit is another strong endorsement of the club and the direction we are heading in as we prepare for what we believe will be a big year in 2015.
"We have a first class training facility at Sydney Olympic Park, a strong football program, a tight knit playing group and staff and we are building towards success in the coming seasons."
Tomlinson said it was an easy decision to re-sign with the GIANTS.
"I’ve been playing footy with some of these boys since I was 10, 11 years old," he said.
"I was lucky enough to play in the first game ever for the GIANTS and to be part of the start of something new and as we’ve grown and become better it’s been really satisfying for me and I want to be part of what’s to come."
Young 203cm ruckman Tom Downie has also extended his contract at the GIANTS until the end of 2016.
Downie, 21, was selected with pick 56 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft and made his debut in Round 20, 2013.
