Greater Western Sydney GIANTS Head Coach Kevin Sheedy has joined the FOX SPORTS News team.

The four time AFL premiership coach will become a regular on FOX SPORTS News each Thursday night between 7-8pm starting tonight, June 21.

Sheedy said he was looking forward to discussing AFL each week and helping to promote the game across Australia.

“FOX SPORTS provides unrivalled coverage of AFL and is a particularly important service in the game’s developing markets in New South Wales and Queensland,” Sheedy said.

“I’m looking forward to discussing not just the GIANTS but also the game each week and hearing the views of fans from wherever they are watching across Australia.”

Kevin Sheedy played 251 games for Richmond and was a member of its 1969 and 1973-74 premierships teams. He joined Essendon as coach in 1981 and led the club to four premierships over the next 27 years.

In 2009 he was appointed the inaugural coach of the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS and this year coached the club to its first ever AFL win against the Gold Coast SUNS. He has coached a total of 653 games and is a member of the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

Kevin Sheedy can be seen on FOX SPORTS News (Channel 513) each Thursday between 7-8pm starting tonight, June 21.
