The GIANTS have passed 21,000 members for the first time in the club’s history, breaking their membership record of 20,944 set in 2017. 

While the milestone is one to celebrate, the GIANTS are focused on smashing all previous bests by reaching 25,000 members in 2018. 

GIANTS Chief Executive David Matthews said the year on year growth is positive, but the club is already looking forward to the next milestone. 

“It’s a fantastic achievement for our young club. The interest in both the GIANTS and AFL is growing in both fans and participants across NSW and the ACT,” he said.

“We set 25,000 members as a target and we look well on our way to growing to that mark.”

Un-renewed members and those thinking about joining for the first time are encouraged to do so before the fast-approaching GIANTS’ members appreciation round at Spotless Stadium.

Only 2018 members will be able to take advantage of all benefits available during the clash with Essendon in round 10.

The GIANTS are urging all members and fans to get their orange on and head to Spotless Stadium on Saturday, May 12 at 1.45pm for the GIANTS’ round eight clash with West Coast.
