Brisbane Lions triple-premiership captain Michael Voss and Sydney Swans premiership skipper Barry Hall headline the GIANTS’ 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final Lunches.
Hosted by GIANTS number one ticket holder Melissa Doyle and AFL legend Robert ‘Dipper’ Dipierdomenico, the GIANTS will host lunches in both Canberra and Sydney in the lead up to the 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final on September 27.
Considered one of the game’s greats, Michael Voss played 289 games, including three premierships and a Brownlow Medal. He was All-Australian six times and was inducted into the Australian Football Hall Of Fame in 2011.
After retiring in 2006, Voss became coach of the Lions at the beginning of the 2009 season and led the side until 2013, before taking up a role in the media.
Barry Hall played 289 games and kicked 746 goals in a career spanning 16 seasons and three AFL clubs. He was captain of the Swans’ 2005 premiership team, named All Australian four times, led his club’s goal kicking on nine occasions and created history when he became the first player to kick 100 goals for three different clubs.
After retiring in 2011, Hall began a career in the media and has been a boundary rider for Fox Footy for the past two seasons.
