The GIANTS are continuing to go global with Chairman Tony Shepherd presenting Papua New Guinea Secretary John Kali with an orange and charcoal jumper in Sydney this week.
Mr Shepherd visited the High Commissioner’s House and gifted Mr Kali, an AFL devotee, with his first GIANTS jumper. Mr Kali is also the Chairman of AFLPNG.
AFL is alive and well in Papua New Guinea with the country participating in the AFL International Cup which is held every three years.
The island nation won its most recent title in 2014 and have won the competition twice since the inaugural season in 2002.
