Greater Western Sydney GIANTS leading goal kicker Jeremy Cameron will return to the team to take on the Western Bulldogs at StarTrack Oval Canberra this Saturday.

Cameron has overcome a virus that kept him out of the game against North Melbourne and will take his place in the Prime Minister’s Cup.

Rhys Palmer will also return to the side after missing two matches with a foot injury, while Stephen Coniglio has been recalled having played for the UWS GIANTS in the NEAFL last week.

Small forward Liam Sumner and midfielders Toby Greene and Zac Williams have all been omitted.

GIANTS Head Coach Kevin Sheedy says he’s looking forward to the challenge of taking on the Bulldogs in the Prime Minister’s Cup/Cbus Building Australia Tribute match.

“We’ve got three very talented players coming back into the line up,” said Sheedy.

“Jeremy Cameron has kicked 33 goals this year and Rhy Palmer usually chips in with a goal a game so the return of those two players will help our forward line.

“Stephen Coniglio did all the right things in the NEAFL last week and has earned his spot back in the line up after a good performance.

“We haven’t played our best football at StarTrack Oval Canberra yet this season so this is a big challenge for us to really take it up to the Bulldogs,” he said.

The Cbus Building Australia Tribute Match celebrates the achievements of the men and women who have helped build Australia.

The Mavis Robertson Team Spirit Medal will be awarded to the individual who has shown the greatest level of team dedication at the end of the match.
