Three GIANTS will be part of the AFL Indigenous All Stars team to take on the West Coast Eagles on Friday night.
Fourth-year GIANTS Curtly Hampton and Nathan Wilson, as well as draftee Jarrod Pickett, will line up for the All Stars in the match which concludes the week-long AFL Players’ Association Indigenous Camp.
It will be the first hit-out for the year for the GIANTS boys as part of the 26-man team at Medibank Stadium in Leederville in Perth.
Hampton, who has played 46 games for the GIANTS, played 11 games in 2014, returning in Round 23 after a serious shoulder injury, while Wilson played six games last season to take his career tally to 19.
Pickett, the GIANTS’ number four pick in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, has yet to play an AFL game but has impressed on the track during pre-season.
59 of the League’s 72 Indigenous players attended the camp, including six GIANTS - Hampton, Wilson, Pickett, Zac Williams, Paul Ahern and Jeremy Finlayson.
