Statistically speaking, key forward Jeremy Cameron should be considered a shoo-in for his second All Australian nod following a career-best season in front of goals.

Cameron eclipsed his dominant 62-goal season in 2013 - finishing the year with 63 majors, placing him second overall in the Coleman Medal tally.

He finished eight goals behind West Coast Eagles big-man Josh Kennedy and eight goals clear of the next best key forward Taylor Walker.

The 22-year-old also ranked first in the AFL this season for marks on the lead and fourth in the competition for total marks inside-50.

Cameron was named full forward in the 2013 All Australian team but impressively averages more marks, tackles and kicks this season.

In 2015 Cameron took 122 marks compared with 106 in 2013. He also made 10 more tackles (37 compared with 27) and had 15 more kicks (185 compared with 170).

He also kicked an equal career-high bag of seven goals on two separate occasions against Hawthorn in round 6 and Carlton in round 22.

Cameron does however face some stiff competition with Josh Kennedy, Taylor Walker, Eddie Betts, Brett Deledio, Jack Gunston, Shaun Higgins, Jack Riewoldt, Cyril Rioli, Jack Stringer and Chad Wingard all nominated in the forward line of the 40-man squad.

The Virgin Australia All Australian team will be unveiled later tonight with defender Heath Shaw the other GIANTS player nominated in the 40-man squad.
