The GIANTS will again don their ANZAC Day jumper when they meet the Western Bulldogs in the nation’s capital, for the team’s first match at Manuka Oval of 2025.

The clubs will clash on Saturday, April 26 following the ANZAC Day commemorations across the country on Friday, to mark the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings.

Designed in conjunction with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and GIANTS midfielder Tom Green, whose father Richard is an army officer, the jumper features three camouflage prints in acknowledgement of the three branches of the ADF.

A symbolic poppy, as well as a collar embroidered with ‘Lest We Forget’ will again feature, serving as a reminder and commemoration of those who died or suffered in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

More than 100 (then VFL) players were killed in conflicts through the late 19th and 20th century.

A curtain raiser match between the ADF and NSW Policewomen will be played ahead of the round seven match and an Observance Ceremony will be undertaken before the bounce.

The GIANTS will wear the jumper when the club host the Bulldogs in round seven at Manuka Oval on Saturday, April 26 at 7:35pm.
