GIANTS Co-Captain Phil Davis says young side have plenty to prove when they come up against St Kilda at StarTrack Oval Canberra.
Davis spoke to the media as the GIANTS announced StarTrack, Australia's leading freight and logistics provider as the naming rights sponsor for Manuka Oval.
"We are in a pretty different position to last year when the majority of our list had only played two games of AFL," Davis said.
"Tomorrow will be a big challenge, St Kilda's forward line has a lot of potency with Riewoldt, Maister and Tom Lee.
"As a group we're definitely moving in the right direction to hopefully get the four points tomorrow but we're coming up against St Kilda who last year beat us by around 100 points.
"It's going to be a big day for us and hopefully we can get our first win of the year," he said.
