We need your help to turn the SCG orange when we clash with the Swans for Sydney Derby IX this Saturday.
Crossing into enemy territory is never easy, but with the Orange Army at your back you can walk a little taller.
Many expect the game to go down to the wire so your support from the stands could play a crucial role in the result.
GIANTS Coach Leon Cameron has issued a call to arms, asking supporters and members to head east, decked out in orange.
“Our membership is building, our support is building and it will be a great to see a lot of supporters at the game and I think we will,” he said.
“I think there will be a really, really big crowd. As every year goes on, you want these (games) to be packed out.
“We know Swans supporters will be there and I encourage all GIANTS supporters to get there and barrack for our team and hopefully we can do them proud.”
Make sure you get to the ground early to watch a history-making women’s exhibition game between the GIANTS and Swans representative sides.
With the national women’s competition set to get underway next year, Australia’s best female talent are taking centre stage.
Another reason to grab a ticket is to farewell a great of the game in Adam Goodes who will be joining recently retired ruckman Mike Pyke for a lap of honour around the SCG during half-time.
Goodes is one of the true pioneers who paved the way for Australian Rules to grow in NSW and we ask all our supporters to show their respect for a champion of the game.
The match between the GIANTS and Swans will take place at the SCG this Saturday at 4.35pm.
