Come along to the first ever Canberra banner making session ahead of the GIANTS’ home game against Richmond at Manuka Oval in round 19.

The GIANTS cheer squad will put together the run through banner on Friday, July 29 at Exhibition Park in Canberra from 5pm. It will be held in the Mallee Pavilion within the EPIC Centre.

Making a banner usually takes five to six hours and a team of volunteers who give up their time both during the week and on game day.

For the first time Canberra members and fans will get the opportunity to participate in this AFL institution and we encourage as many people as possible to come down and help out.

Food and drink will be provided and the room is heated!

The GIANTS take on Richmond on Saturday, July 30 and 1.45pm at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
