7News Facebook Live-A-Thon supporting Ronald McDonald House Westmead:
Having family by your side through tough times can make a world of difference, and that’s where the GIANTS Community Partner Ronald McDonald House Westmead steps in. It’s a home away from home for families with sick children, but right now not every family can be helped as there are simply not enough beds.
That’s why they need your help to raise the remaining $2 million for the new house in Westmead, so each and every family can get the support they need.
From 3pm, 7News will be hosting various Facebook Live activations where GIANTS members and fans can meet the team from Channel 7 including Mel McLaughlin, Sam Mac, the Cash Cow and stars from Home & Away and Hells Kitchen. You can participate in the Little Big Shots talent off and watch your AFLW players kick as many goals as they can to raise money for the House.
See Ronald McDonald House volunteers on the day to donate to the new house or donate in the lead up by sending a text message/SMS with the word LOVE to 0439 222 777 or online at https://buildinglove.org.au/donate.

Ronald McDonald House Westmead
Ronald McDonald House Westmead are the proud Community Match Day Partner for round 22. The Ronald McDonald House Westmead is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family needs to focus on the health of their seriously ill child. They help lighten the burden by providing a ‘home away from home’ so families can keep close to support each other. The GIANTS have been an integral part of making the children smile with their visits through the Gentle GIANTS program, often kicking the footy with the kids, cooking a BBQ or just having a chat. See the Live-A-Thon information above to see how you can get involved in helping them this weekend.
