The GIANTS Academy will play five games in the new elite under-18 competition, the NAB League in 2019.

The GIANTS Academy team joins the Swans, Suns and Lions Academies as invitational teams in the new-look competition.

“The code has gone from strength to strength in recent years and this competition will give our players more exposure playing against the best talent from around the country.
“The Academy system in NSW and Queensland has created a clear pathway from juniors to the elite level and I’m confident this revamped system will continue to help grow the talent pool from these states.”
The revamped competition will also have a dedicated app which will provide fans with live information, stats and access to game vision and highlights.
