Bio: A versatile footballer capable of playing all three lines, Hannaford starred as a dynamic forward for the GWV Rebels late in the 2024 season to be named in the Coates Talent League Team of the Year. Showcasing his talents ahead of the ball, Hannaford kicked five goals against the Oakleigh Chargers in round 18 and then a bag of six in the qualifying final against the Geelong Falcons. Hannaford averaged 17 disposals and four tackles per game for the Rebels, while kicking 21 goals across 17 matches. Showing an ability to perform on the big stage, Hannaford was the Rebels’ best player in their grand final loss to Sandringham, picking up 24 disposals in an impressive performance. He also represented Vic Country in three matches at the National Championships. A dynamic athlete, his speed (2.95 seconds in the 20m sprint) and agility (7.92 seconds in the agility test) were both ranked in the top bracket at the State Draft Combine in Melbourne.
