Iconic women’s sport advocate and multi-code athlete Chloe Dalton has committed her future to the GIANTS.

Dalton, who has been a GIANT since 2022, has put pen to paper on a new deal which will see her remain in the orange and charcoal through until at least the end of 2026.

Despite missing the entire 2024 season through injury, the 31-year-old tri-code athlete has become a valuable member of the GIANTS backline, enjoying a career-best season in 2023, averaging almost 13 disposals, three tackles and 250 metres gained per match.

GIANTS Executive General Manager of AFLW and Football Operations, Alison Zell, said the club was thrilled to secure Dalton’s signature.

“We’re delighted to see Chloe continuing on in the orange and charcoal,” she said.

“Chloe’s an experienced leader given her background in three elite sports so she’s an invaluable addition to our young group both on and off the field.

“She obviously been unlucky with injury, yet she has worked incredibly hard throughout her rehabilitation, and we have great confidence she can play a pivotal role for us into the future.”

A star on and off the field, Dalton is also known for off-field work in the sporting landscape as a fierce advocate for equality in sport via her platform, the Female Athlete Project.
