The GIANTS have added four players to their squad for this weekend’s match at Manuka Oval.

Jess Doyle, Aliesha Newman, Caitlin Miller and Jemma Ramsdale have all been named in the extended squad to take on the Suns on Sunday.

Doyle was a late out for last weekend’s game against the Tigers due to illness but was part of the club’s record-breaking victory in Canberra in round one.

Newman passed her fitness test after presenting with knee soreness earlier in the week and if selected will play her first game for the club after being traded from the Swans in the off-season.

Replacement player, Ramsdale, has been named in the extended squad for the first time this season and would make her AFLW debut should she be named in the final team of 21.

Miller is the fourth addition to Thursday night’s squad and if selected would be looking to build on her five games from season 2023.

The GIANTS will name their final team for round three on Friday at 5pm.

The GIANTS return to Canberra to take on the Gold Coast Suns at 5:05pm on Sunday at Manuka Oval.
