Draftee Indigo Linde has been dealt a setback in her debut season, with the youngster set to be sidelined for the next six weeks.
The 19-year-old was a late out from Sunday morning’s scrimmage after presenting with calf soreness pre-match.
Linde was sent for a scan on Monday with the scans revealing the extent of the calf strain.
Small forward Aliesha Newman will be a test for this weekend, after the former Swan presented with knee soreness at the completion of the scrimmage match on Sunday.
Jess Doyle was a late out for last weekend’s round two match with the Tigers and will also be a test for this weekend's match at Manuka Oval.
Meanwhile, Brodee Mowbray will take the next step in her ACL recovery and will participate in this Sunday’s scrimmage match.
The pressure-forward is on track to be available for selection in the next one to two weeks.
The GIANTS will return to Canberra this weekend to take on the Suns at 5:05pm at Manuka Oval.
