After starting the season with a record-breaking victory last week, the GIANTS will now enter Tiger territory on Sunday for a clash with Richmond.

AFLW ROUND 2

Richmond v GIANTS
Sunday, September 8 at 1:05pm
Swinburne Centre | Wurundjeri Country

MILESTONE

Haneen Zreika is set to play her 50th AFLW game on Sunday when the GIANTS take on the Tigers in Victoria. Debuting in 2019, Zreika is a pioneer of the women’s game after becoming the first Muslim woman to play in the AFLW. Hailing from Western Sydney, Zreika joined the club as a rookie-listed player in 2018 and has since cemented herself as a regular member of the GIANTS’ line-up. Originally from a rugby league background, the pressure forward is one of the GIANTS’ most reliable players, taking out two of the club’s last three Coaches Awards for her ability to play a variety of roles with unmatched tenacity.
