GIANTS veteran Adam Kennedy has suffered a small setback after suffering a minor hamstring strain in the final game of the VFL season last weekend.
The inaugural GIANT’s injury was the only fresh injury out of the weekend with all 23 AFL players getting through the round 23 match unscathed.
Wingman Isaac Cumming is progressing extremely well in his rehabilitation from his hamstring injury and will push for a return in the first week of finals.
Tall forward Jake Riccardi will also be pushing for a return in the qualifying final as he closes in on his return from finger surgery.
The GIANTS take on the Western Bulldogs in Ballarat this Sunday at 12:30pm.
