Adam Kingsley has recalled three GIANTS following starring performances in the VFL to take on Carlton at ENGIE Stadium on Saturday night.

Following two best-on-ground performances in VFL victories over the past fortnight, former number one pick Aaron Cadman will return to the side for Welcome Game.

Cadman kicked five goals from 16 touches and had nine marks and four tackles in the upset win over Southport after a strong performance the week before against the Swans.

Vying for best-on-ground honours in last week’s clash, Western Sydney product James Peatling also returns to the side after 35 touches, seven clearances, four tackles and a goal.

The third inclusion in the side is dynamic forward Darcy Jones who will line up for the fifth game of his career after strong VFL form following a hamstring injury. The speedy second year has had 10 scoring shots over the past two matches.

Going out of the side are vice-captain Josh Kelly (calf) as well as Callum Brown and Max Gruzewski, who have both been omitted.

Running defender Lachie Ash sustained a corked calf at training on Thursday but will be given until game day to prove his fitness.

The GIANTS will take on Carlton in a blockbuster Saturday night clash at ENGIE Stadium with plenty of fun on and off the field.

The GIANTS’ Welcome Game is a multicultural festival that will celebrate and spotlight the incredible diversity of the Western Sydney community and the contributions they’ve made to our great game.

There are plenty of pre-game activities in the Festival Zone outside Gate D and then join us from 7pm for a spectacular pre-game show on-field at ENGIE Stadium.
