The GIANTS have named their team for Sunday’s round five clash with the Kangaroos at Arden Street Oval.

The team is headlined by the inclusion of skipper Alicia Eva, who will return to take on the Kangaroos after serving a one-game suspension.

Ruck Cambridge McCormick has also been named in the final team, with the pair replacing injured duo Teagan Germech (ankle) and Annalyse Lister (calf).

The match will also mark the 50^th game for young leader Katherine Smith, who will notch the milestone after only turning 25 this week.

Smith is optimistic the GIANTS’ success can begin on Sunday with victory over third-placed North Melbourne in her milestone match.

“We are fully confident that we can win this week,” she said.

“If we stick to our game plan and compete at the contest then I have no doubt we can win.

“I think it’s time for us to win and I think it’s the start of hopefully a few more wins for the rest of the season.”

The GIANTS and the Kangaroos will clash at 1:05pm on Sunday at Arden Street Oval.
