The GIANTS have continued their unbeaten start to the 2022 VFL season, defeating Collingwood by 17 points at the AIA Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Josh Green, Josh Fahey and Will Shaw impressed for the GIANTS as they held off a fast-finishing Collingwood side to record a 14.12 (96) to 12.7 (79) win.
Forward Jarrod Brander continued his strong form in the VFL, registering a game-high 22 disposals and four goals playing on the wing and forward.
James Peatling responded well to being omitted last week, registering 16 disposals and two goals, with Kieren Briggs also pushing for senior selection after another strong display in the ruck.
GIANTS VFL coach Damian Truslove attributed the win to his side’s dominant opening half.

Truslove shared his assessments of the AFL and VFL listed players who played in the match.
