As part of the ANZAC Round celebrations the ADF Women’s Team, the “All Stars” will take on the NSW Police Women’s Team, the “Blue Heelers” from 4.00pm.

Members and fans will have free entry into the game on Saturday afternoon at BISP.

GIANTS MEMBER ACCESS

Reserved Seat Holders  

Members who hold a reserved seat to Manuka Oval will be eligible to use their smartphone as their entry method into the game. Members are advised to add their mobile tickets into their digital wallets 24 hours prior to match day to ensure a smooth entry into the stadium. 

Accessing your Mobile Ticket: 

1. Download the GWS GIANTS Club app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. 

2. Open the GIANTS app and click the 'My Tickets' icon at the top of the page. 

3. Log in with your GIANTS membership details and your available matches will begin to load. 

4. Select your desired match and wait for your ticket details to load. 

5. Within 72hrs prior to the match, you will now have the option to 'View Barcodes' or 'Add to Wallet'. 

6. It is recommended you add your tickets to either your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account before heading to the venue to ensure a smooth entry. 

7. Now with your barcode visible, head to the nearest entry gate and scan your ticket into the venue. 

Note: If you have multiple tickets in your account, you can swipe across to view your next ticket. 

General Admission Members 

Members who hold a general admission membership products are required to redeem their zero dollar members ticket in the lead up to the match. 

To redeem your ticket, please follow the below instructions. 

1. Head to the Ticketek Event Page. 

2. In the box provided, please enter all your member barcodes you wish to book for and then select 'Unlock Tickets' 
Note: If you are booking for multiple groups of members, please ensure you list each barcode on a new line in the box provided. By entering all barcodes before hitting unlock tickets, this will ensure all your seats are allocated together. 

3. Choose Category 4 from the available seating areas. 

4. Now select the number of member tickets you require (one per barcode) and if applicable, please select the number of paid guest tickets you would like to purchase. 

5. Once it has allocated you some seats, please review the summary and click the 'Next' button. From there simply follow the prompts and complete your booking.

Cheer Squad Members 

GIANTS Cheer Squad Members will be required to book their cheer squad tickets with the information provided in the Cheer squad newsletters earlier this week. 

Getting There and Access 

Car: Public car parking is available at a number of locations around Manuka Oval including Kingston Shopping Centre, Manuka Shopping Centre, Kingston Oval and surrounding streets. Please see detailed parking map below for which streets are available for parking. Please note cars parked illegally will be liable for fines. 

Bus: Visit Transport ACT for all the up to date information regarding routes and timetables.

On-Field Entertainment and activations

• ANZAC Day Ceremony. The GIANTS open ANZAC Round with a remembrance ceremony pre-game at Manuka Oval 
• In 2022 we have a new Toyo Tires three-quarter-time activation! As well as supporting the GIANTS, Toyo has helped footy at the grass roots; helping to develop the next generation of GIANT champions as part of their ‘In Support of Sport’ program. Toyo are giving local footy clubs the chance to compete in the new Make Your Move Challenge. Two teams will race a GIANT Toyo tyre, across the ground with the first to cross the line winning their club a $2,000 donation!

Fan Zone 

• The GIANTS Fan Zone is back in action at Manuka Oval this season and will be filled with loads of fun and FREE activities for all ages. 
• Giveaways: Make sure you grab your hand clappers and rally towels to kick-start your GIANTS game day experience in style!
• Canberra FM Roadshow 

• Make sure you visit the GIANTS merchandise outlet where the latest 2021 GIANTS merchandise and member apparel will be available! 
• GIANTS Big Kick inflatables; test your kicking skills at our GIANTS inflatables. 
• Face painting will all be available for free in the GIANTS Fan Zone so make sure you deck yourself out in as much orange as possible to support your GIANTS.

Most Valuable GIANT 

Vote for your Most Valuable GIANT! After our game on Friday, GIANTS fans will be able to vote for their most valuable player in a 3, 2, 1 voting style. Vote exclusively on the GIANTS app - Click here to download it now. This year the overall winner of the Most Valuable GIANT- as chosen by you - will be awarded the trophy at the Kevin Sheedy Medal. 

Team Selection 

The GIANTS will name their final team on Thursday night at 6:20pm at giants.afl. 

The VFL team will be named at 6pm the day before the match. 

Broadcast 

Friday’s match will be shown live on 7mate in NSW and the ACT from 7:30pm and Fox Footy and Kayo nationally.

The match will also be shown via the AFL Live app with a subscription purchase.
