The AFL has today announced the dates and time for rounds 10 and 11 of the AFL season as the league celebrates Sir Doug Nicholls Rounds.

In round 11 the GIANTS will travel to Brisbane to take on the Lions at the Gabba on Saturday, May 28 with first bounce at 1:45pm.
The AFL's annual round recognising and celebrating First Nations players and culture is named in honour of Sir Doug Nicholls.
Sir Doug, who epitomised the spirit of reconciliation, played 54 games for Fitzroy and was a brilliant all-round athlete. The first Aboriginal person to be knighted, he also served as Governor of South Australia and was devoted to the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Sir Doug Nicholls Round will again celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and contribution to Australian Football, with this year's celebration spanning across both rounds 10 and 11.
The GIANTS will release a new Indigenous jumper design prior to round 10.
The full fixture for the first half of the season has now been confirmed.
The GIANTS’ next home game is against St Kilda in Friday night footy at Manuka Oval in round six on April 22.
The club returns to the nation’s capital in round eight against Geelong before playing back-to-back matches at GIANTS Stadium in rounds nine and 10 against Carlton and West Coast.
