Jason Saddington has headed the GIANTS' male and female academies since 2021.

The former Swans and Carlton defender was initially appointed coach of the GIANTS Academy in 2014.

Having played 142 games in a career spanning more than a decade, Saddington replaced former Essendon forward Mark McVeigh who joined the GIANTS’ AFL side as a defensive coach.

Named coach of the 2014 NAB AFL Under-18 All Australian team, Saddington coached the NSW/ACT Rams for three seasons before joining the GIANTS.
