An AFL Level 4 accredited coach and a veteran of the AFL with over two decades of experience in a variety of roles across five AFL club, Craig Jennings joined the GIANTS as an assistant coach in 2022.

 

Jennings it the club's midfield and transition coach for the 2025 season. 

A Victorian Country captain and All-Australian junior, Jennings was drafted to North Melbourne and was an Under 19 AFL Premiership Player.

The well-respected assistant coach has completed study tours at major sports teams across the world, including recently to Paris - St Germaine and Parma FC.  He has previously visited major league soccer teams across the Middle East to gain insights into best coaching practice. He has also travelled to the United States, Sweden, Germany and Japan to further his coaching knowledge. Jennings has also presented game strategy to coaches at Stanford College in the US.

He also spent two years working in the media alongside Gerard Whateley as an expert commentator.

Jennings has post graduate level qualifications in both Sport Management and Education.
