Brìd Stack joined the GIANTS and the AFLW for the first time in 2021 but was sidelined for the season after a serious neck injury in her first practice match for the club. The 35-year-old is an 11-time All-Ireland winner for Cork and was named the 2016 Ladies Footballer of the Year. Stack is a key defender with great speed, good agility, highly competitive and has a long history of high-level success in Gaelic women’s football in Ireland.
