A superstar of the competition and the current captain of the club, Toby Greene is an inaugural GIANT who was taken with pick 11 in the 2011 AFL Draft. One of the most dynamic players in the League, Greene has established himself as one of the craftiest forwards of the modern era, with an innate sense around goals making him a nightmare for opposing defenders. After sharing the captaincy alongside Stephen Coniglio and Josh Kelly in 2022, Greene was made standalone captain by coach Adam Kingsley ahead of season 2023, which saw the mercurial forward take his game to another level. Despite already being a two-time All-Australian and a GIANTS club champion winner, Greene put forward a career-best year in 2023, kicking a career-high 66 goals to lead the GIANTS to a preliminary final and within a point of another grand final appearance. The inspirational skipper was rewarded for his stellar season with one of the game’s highest honours – All-Australian captain - as he collected a third blazer. He also claimed the 2023 Kevin Sheedy Medal to add to his 2016 club champion award.
