The GIANTS' VFL team to take on the ladder-leading Casey Demons on Saturday night has been announced.

As revealed on Thursday, captain Stephen Coniglio will play for the GIANTS' VFL team on Saturday night as he continues to build fitness following surgery 13 weeks ago to repair a syndesmosis injury and reconstruct a big toe on the same foot.

The 27-year-old will return alongside forward Jesse Hogan who is coming back from a calf injury. Matt de Boer will also play in the VFL after being omitted from the senior side.

The GIANTS will take on the Casey Demons in round 12 of the VFL at Casey Fields in Melbourne on Saturday night.
