The GIANTS’ “Original Eight” have come together just days out from the club’s 10th birthday celebrations at GIANTS Stadium. 

Eight players remain at the club from the first year the GIANTS entered the AFL in 2012 with Stephen Coniglio, Toby Greene, Callan Ward, Phil Davis, Adam Kennedy, Nick Haynes, Matt Buntine and Sam Reid forming the backbone of the list.

The eight players have pulled on the GIANTS jumper a combined 1086 times since the team first lined up in March, 2012 and includes two All-Australians and three Kevin Sheedy Medallists. 

Sunday’s clash against West Coast will be the perfect opportunity for GIANTS fans to come together to celebrate a Big, Big Decade.

With the club celebrating their 10th season, Sunday’s game to fall near the anniversary of the first-ever game at GIANTS Stadium - against Essendon on May 26, 2012. 

There will be a string of ways to celebrate the occasion with giveaways, merchandise discounts and a live interactive broadcast of the club’s radio show, the One-Eyed GIANTS.
