Seven-time world surfing champion Layne Beachley has been announced as the keynote speaker at the GIANTS’ 2021 Ladies Lunch.
Beachley, who calls Sydney’s northern beaches home, is widely regarded as the most successful surfer in history.
Her life has been an emotional rollercoaster of happiness, injury, adventure, depression, failure and ultimately, success.
As an officer of the order of Australia, Chair of Surfing Australia, and founder of the Awake Academy, Beachley’s story is the testimony to the power of self-belief.
The event is scheduled for Friday, May 7 prior to our round eight AFL fixture against Essendon the following day as we return to GIANTS Stadium.
With Melissa Doyle as the Master of Ceremonies, The GIANTS Ladies Lunch is one of the most popular events on the club’s calendar.
