Lock-down defender Sam Reid returns from suspension for Sydney Derby XX at the SCG on Saturday afternoon.

The veteran copped a two-match suspension in round two and comes straight back into the side for fellow defender Matt Buntine (omitted).

Coach Leon Cameron has gone with Shane Mumford in the ruck for the second week in a row, following his stellar performance against Brodie Grundy in round four.

The GIANTS will continue with three tall options up forward in Harry Himmelberg, Jake Riccardi and Jeremy Finlayson while last week’s debutant - Conor Stone - will play his second match.

For the 20th instalment of the Sydney Derby, the GIANTS will debut a brand-new charcoal kit for the first time.

The two teams will face off at 4:35pm on Saturday afternoon at the SCG.

Earlier in the day, the Swans and GIANTS will also clash in the opening round of the new-look VFL season at Tramways Oval outside the SCG.

The round five will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo from 4:30pm as well as live and free on 7mate into NSW and the ACT.
